All Kids Included Family Arts Festival
The 12th annual festival is a free event that features multidisciplinary art experiences for kids with and without disabilities. Each aspect of the fest is designed to be fully accessible and will utilize ASL interpretation, large print, Braille, sighted guides, audio description, sensory-friendly programs, and shadow interpreted theater.
Museum of Discovery and Science
On May 19, the new Rescue exhibit opens—you’ll be able to learn about high intensity rescue scenarios performed on land, in the air, and at sea through interactive components like a rescue helicopter simulator and role-playing as a news team covering a rescue story.
Washington Oaks Gardens State Park
Located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Matanzas River, Washington Oaks Gardens State Park preserves 425 acres of coastal scenery along State Road A1A in Palm Coast, Florida. The park contains one of the largest outcroppings of coquina rock on the Atlantic Ocean. The center of the Park consists of coastal scrub community that transitions into lush canopy where towering live oaks, hickory and magnolia trees offer their welcome shade. Bordering the tree line, the scenic tidal marshes of the Matanzas River.
Epcot® International Flower and Garden Festival
The 25th annual festival runs Feb 28 – May 28. You can wander around a creative collection of interactive gardens and gaze upon an array of living sculptures shaped like beloved Disney characters. Admission to Epcot is required for admittance. Most Festival events are included with your Epcot ticket.
Bahia Honda State
Three camping areas within the park provide a total of 80 campsites for both tent and RV campers. Rest rooms and hot showers are easily accessible. There are also three duplex cabins which can accommodate 6 people per cabin.
Travel the waters in a kayak. You can navigate around the entire island and offers a quiet, peaceful tour. Bring your own bike and you can traverse the park’s more than 3-1/2 mile hard surface road that runs the length of Bahia Honda. Tarpon fishing in the area rates among the best in the state. Charter boats and guides are generally available for hire during tarpon season.
